In an increasing number of cases, the physics of molecular transport and thermodynamics for pores below 10 nm has been shown to deviate substantially from existing theory. CENT’s mission is to address emerging and compelling gaps in our knowledge of fluid flow and molecular transport in single digit nanopores and to establish the scientific foundation for developing transformative molecular separation technologies impacting the Water – Energy Nexus.
